June in Gallatin county is like the mecca of good times to be had. The patios are open, Music on Main has started up, the Farmer's Market is in full swing, the Art Walk kicks off, and the list goes on. At the top of ours sits the much anticipated Headwaters Country Jam--a three day, rip-roaring outdoor festival in the heart of the valley.

Tucked directly in our backyard, the Headwaters Country Jam draws scores of festival goers from around town and beyond. If you're looking for the inside scoop on who will be there, ticket options, and perks, look no further!

THE WHO'S WHO OF WHO'S PERFORMING

As a festival that always pulls a strong lineup, Headwaters Country Jam has done it again. They're the masters of curating a small but powerful lineup that brings you a perfect mix of all-stars and local legends in an intimate setting. Festival goers get to see some of the biggest names in country without fighting the insane crowds of larger festivals or tour crowds. This year's headliners are about as high profile as you can get, with acts like Big and Rich, Kelsea Ballerini, Michael Ray, LANCO, and Rodney Atkins all leading the charge. Even those who consider themselves less of a country fan have heard at least of few of these powerhouse artists on the radio.

PICKING THE TICKET THAT'S RIGHT FOR YOU

As if the lineup itself isn't already enough of a party, Headwaters Country Jam also throws a massive campsite into the mix. Festival goers can opt for a variety tickets that grant them access to different camp site levels. Buyers can choose from standard campsites, luxury, VIP, or even a Family/Quiet campsite. VIPers will enjoy complimentary lawn chairs, access to happy hour, free water and soda all day, and private bathrooms. If you're staying at a campsite, you can bring whatever food and drinks you want, but be sure to leave the glass at home. There are pretty specific rules for how many vehicles and campers are allowed per site, so be sure to read in depth before purchasing. If you're wanting to enjoy the festival but would rather stay indoors, we know of a great little hotel just down the road that would love to host you! Click here to book today.

WHAT TO EXPECT WHEN YOU'RE THERE

Simply put: a downright good time. The collective campsites create for an awesome community space where everyone has come together for the same reason--to have a blast and listen to great music they all love. The buzz is palpable and absolutely contagious! Whether you're heading down with your buddies for spring break or taking the family, the festival truly has something for everyone. Attendees can chow down on local grub while sipping a beer under some of the most sweeping views the valley has to offer. In a space like this, it's nearly impossible not to have a great time. The three days will be over before you know it, and you'll already be looking forward to next year. Trust us.
