How To Make The Best Winter Nights In Three Forks

Best Winter Nights in Three Forks

Long winter nights don’t need to make you feel cabin-feverish in Three Forks. There’s plenty to do all day and well into the evening when it comes to beating winter blues. Start out early and end it late when you get things going at the Sacajawea.

Pamper All Afternoon

On-site spa services? Yes, please. Speak with the concierge in advance to reserve your spa treatments, best enjoyed right at the Sacajawea. You can select from deep tissue, Swedish, and hot stone massages, not to mention facials and custom waxing, and you don’t need to set foot outside of the hotel. Spending an afternoon getting deep into relaxation only adds more to your evening.

Start off with a Soak

Right down the road, Norris Hot Springs supplies even more calm to your body. The natural mineral hot springs here have been in use for more than a century, and with good reason. Settle back and soothe yourself. You won’t want to skip a sip or two of craft beer while you’re at it, or enjoy snacks delivered poolside (with many of their ingredients grown onsite). Your evening could start and end here if you wanted, soaking and nibbling the night away to live music performed on weekends. Of course, there’s plenty more to try for an evening in the Headwaters.

Wine and Fine Dine

Back at the Sacajawea, fine dining at Pompey’s Grill slips in a luxury angle on the evening. The seasonally specific menu brings flavors from around the region and around the world to your palate. Whether you’re looking to snag a quick bite to eat in style, or you want to settle in for cocktails and four courses, you can enjoy the offerings on the menu at Pompey’s. With regular specials offered throughout the winter (from Prime Rib Wednesdays to all-you-can-eat crab on Sundays) you can taste the season in the best possible way.

Night out, Three Forks Style

In a town this small, you’d be surprised by the number of bars to check out. Of course, we may be biased, but it’s hard to beat two-stepping to live music in the Sac Bar each weekend. Local acts and visiting musicians keep the vibe very toe-tapping at this town hotspot. Plus, you’ll find regular karaoke nights can get the whole gang into the fun. You can enjoy a drink or two at the bar or tear up the dance floor till you close the place down.

Turn in for Turn Down

When it comes time to say goodnight, head upstairs to your room and get ready for the best snuggles of your life. Winter shouldn’t be knocking at your door, even if snow falls softly outside. When you have Gilchrist & Soames bath products to enjoy in a bubble bath and luxury linens to cuddle under, winter seems like the perfect excuse for a good night’s rest. The only thing better than ending the night in snuggled sleep is waking up the next morning to fresh coffee and breakfast in bed.
