We love Ranch Wives Beef Co., and we certainly think you will too. Their meat is not something they mess around with, and the care is clear in the flavor and quality. When it comes to beef sourced directly from family farms, this is the good stuff. We’re so excited to partner with them here at the Sacajawea! Here are just a few of the reasons why you should get excited about Ranch Wives too.The Co.
As the name implies, Ranch Wives Beef Co. was founded on the backs of some amazing ladies. Childhood besties Natalie and JaTanna formed the company when they realized that purchasing farm-raised beef from trusted sources was often something only ranching families were able to do with ease. Ranch Wives is your way to tap into the local farm-fresh beef scene without needing a family connection.
With childhoods spent in rural Montana and adulthoods spent on the rustic side of ranch life, the pair have a vast background in the cowboy life. As fifth- and sixth-generation Montana ranchers, these friends bring together the experience that really comes through in the quality of the meat on offer. This isn’t just a business—it’s a way of life and land stewardship taken seriously. Follow #ranchwifelife to see their stories and the story of their business continue to unfold.
Let’s get down to the meat of the matter: the stuff you really want to sink your teeth into. The beef available from Ranch Wives Beef Co. comes from cows that have spent their lives grazing lush green grass, then finished with nutrient-rich grains that contribute to high-quality marbling in the meat. These are some of the finest cuts of Angus beef you can find, and the quality is clear in every bite you take.
The meat is family raised with no added hormones. Then the beef gets dry-aged for 10 to 14 days to concentrate and enhance the taste, so each bite is just about as good as it gets. But if you’re still in need of recipe inspiration, the Ranch Wives have you covered with a whole host of family-honed dishes you can find on their website.
All the beef comes from Kovarik Cattle Co. and Williams Angus Ranch. Kovarik is in Central Nebraska, operated by husband and wife duo Luke and Natalie Kovarik. Williams Angus Ranch sits in Southwest Montana along the Jefferson River, not far from the Sacajawea Hotel. It was homesteaded in 1865, so it’s truly a part of Montana history.
